Has anyone else noticed that as Canadians we are always getting ripped off even by our own Postal service. I ship mainly small packets to Canada and U.S. a Small packet into any state is $4.93 butIf I ship into New Brunswick or Vancouver it is $9.95. Isn't this totally unfair. It should be more going into the U.S. as there are customs and duty services that must be performed. I hate being taken advantage of by our own government.

For most of Canada this only applies to packages UNDER 500 grams.

Customs costs are borne by the USA not CP

Their are similar glitches in the USA, it's cheaper to send a 250 gram package to Japan from Canada then from the USA.

USA/International Small Packets are a "subsidized" service (well sort of) don't complain too loudly or they will take it away.

FYI: CanadaPost is a private company, no help or control from the Government. Pretty pathetic.
