Hi, I have been a Bronze powerseller for 3 months now, but I still haven't been able to get in the expanded seller protection program.
I emailed eBay they asked me to contact paypal.
called paypal they told me this protection is initiated by eBay and it is up to eBay to send me an invitation.
I tried going to https://www.paypal.com/expandedsellerprotection
but it is only a description page, no enroll button.
Can anybody please tell me how I can enroll?
I have been scammed by unconfirmed address reversal last year I just want to protect myself instead of rejecting all unconfirmed address payment.
Thanks for the help!

Log into Paypal and click on "profile"- under Selling preferences click on "unauthorized payment protection" - it should be there.

Hi, unauthorized payment protection under selling preference is only available if I am enrolled,
but I am not so I do not have that option.

I suspect it may be no longer available since the program was eliminated in the USA. Expanded coverage now applies to ALL US Sellers.
There is some limited Powerseller telephone support, have you tried that?

I am enrolled but it means nothing. It was ruled that I was NOT eligible for seller protection on a so called "unauthorized" payment even though I sent proof of mailing, shipped to Verified Buyer, to Confirmed Address and payment was marked "eligible".
Purchaser went on a shopping spree for over 200 items and four days later yelled "Unauthorized transactions". Dozens of sellers got burned.

payment even though I sent proof of mailing,
Proof of mailing has never meant anything without proof of delivery.

Sorry to correct you recped, here is the definition from PayPal:
What is proof of shipment?
Proof of shipment is documentation or online verification from the shipping company that shows the shipping date, the address to which the package was sent, and official acceptance from the shipping company (for example, a postmark). It differs from proof of delivery because it doesn’t have to show that the package was actually delivered, just that it was shipped. The proof of shipment doesn’t need to show the full street address since some shipping companies don’t include this information. The city/state or ZIP code (or equivalent) are normally acceptable.
So, my copy of the postal receipt with stamp from the post office qualified as PROOF OF SHIPMENT.

yes that happened to me too it's total BS my tracking shows that item was received, buyer issued a fund reversal for unauthorized transaction and he won...
I was hoping this new protection can protect me from losing item and money again...

Unauthorized Payment / chargeback etc. requires proof of shipment.
Item not received requires proof of delivery. Plus a signature if the item is over 250.oo ?
These stated protection policies are applied randomly and if it's going to cost Paypal more than 50 bucks out of their own pocket, you can forget about it. It's fraud, plain and simple, so just move on and cover your own butt 😜
