Changing billing currency to Canadian Dollars

I originally registered with eBay UK.  For the last 10 years, I have lived in Canada and have been selling in Canadian dollars.  About a year ago, I changed my currency back to Pounds Sterling for a single transaction and now I want to change it back to Canadian dollars, but I can't figure out how to do this.  When I click the 'change currency' link on this page (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/billing-currency.html), the only options I get are Euro's and US Dollars.  I have definitely used Canadian dollars as my currency before, so how do I change back to this? Unfortunately, I can't remember now how I changed currencies in the past, but I don't remember it being this difficult.

  • You must not have switched your billing currency within the past 12 months.

  • Your registered address must be up to date. The payment method you can select depends on the country ebay thinks have as your residence.

  • you must have an automatic payment method in place.

Dot COM??

There's your problem.

Since last summer, you can only list on eBay Canada in loonies.

As always you can list on dotCOM in USdollars and on dotCOdotUK in pounds.

Doesn't really matter where you registered your account, you can list on any site-- but if you are on a given site you must use the local currency and unless you can ship from that nation, you must use Flat Rate Shipping.

Make sure you are on eBayCanada (ebay.ca) when you want to list in Canadian dollars.

Thanks, but none of those restrictions apply. It's over a year since I last changed my currency, my registered address is up to date (and is a Canadian address) and I have an automatic payment method (PayPal) set up.

Thanks for the info, but I still haven't figured out the solution. I have tried the Canadian version of the link I posted (https://arbd.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SBCChooseCurrency&guest=1) and I still just get Euros and USD as the only options. I created my seller listing on the Canadian site (i.e. ebay.ca) and it is saying that my listing currency is Canadian dollars, but the problem is that it's got my billing currency as pound sterling.

Then I can only suggest the Help & Contact link (at top and bottom of this page) and go to the bottom section to contact seller support.

Hey! did you manage to solve this problem? i am having the exact same one, and i can't choose CAD. I will probably contact ebay customer support, but i will try finding the solution first. Just curious as it's being a huge pain with the shipping options..
