I committed to buy an item, but could not pay for it because shipping fees had not been calculated.I will not pay shipping fees as the seller's ebay store advertises free shipping to USA and Canada.
I have asked for a final invoice but the seller has not responded for days.
"Commit to Buy" on the buyer's part is not for an infinite period. How do I cancel?

Sorry. Commit to buy?
I thought the the button took you to Pay Here.
Is there a shipping fee showing up at that point?
If not, just pay the invoice. You don't need the seller's permission.
Oh, yeah, does it say Recalculate?
Don't.

The buyer is saying that he is being charged for shipping.
The seller advertised 'Free shipping' to Canada and U.S.in the listings.
That is the reason for the invoice request.
Don't pay for anything until the S&H issue is rectified.
Save all correspondence.
About a year ago, I had to contact eBay to advise of the same problem I had as a buyer; in anticipation of a 'Non-Payment' claim by the seller. It was resolved shortly thereafter.
Some sellers will stoop low to gouge an extra buck.
