Just wondering.... It was found that I had entered an incorrect shipping address. Not true! I always pay via Paypal, but the tracking history was all messed up due to a mistake made by Pitney Bowes. Anyway, the case was closed (NOT in my favour) and I appealed it. Does anyone ever win an appeal?

Yes but you need to call and speak to a real person in Customer Service to plead your case. When the cases are opened and closed by bots, they miss most if not all the subtleties. Have all your information at hand and be prepared to speak to multiple people and levels of CSRs until you get someone who finally understands what you are saying to them. If you know you are in the right, be polite and firm until you make your point loud and clear in a meaningful way. Don't take 'no' for an answer. But be polite. There is nothing to be gained by rudeness to these poor folks who take the calls.
Good luck. Come back when you need more advice.

Hi ~ may I ask something ? What kind of case are you trying to appeal? You mention Pitney Bowes in your question ~ did you not get an item in the mail but tracking shows it as delivered through the GSP?

I didn't get the item. What happened was rare and complicated. Pitney Bowes used the same shipping label for two items. Canada Post refused to scan my item because the bar code had already been scanned. My full tracking history is a total disaster and very difficult to interpret. At any rate, I lost the appeal. My money is with the seller and I have no hope of receiving the item. the CSR got fed up with me, saying I was repeating myself, so I capitulated. Oh well. As my late father used to say sweetly and sagely, "It's only money; move on."
Thank you for your interest.

The staff person who mans this post is Raphael and he leaves the thread open overnight now, usually, so that more people can participate but it's best to post early so that he has the most available time during business hours to look into it for you.
Good luck. I have faith this can be resolved for you. I think you had a bad CSR experience.
