GST/HST Update July 1, 2016.

Some changes  with respect to Newfoundland and New Brunswick

No Change for all provinces except Newfoundland and New Brunswick

GST = 5 %... British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba... Quebec is unique

HST = 13 %... Ontario

HST = 14 %... Prince Edward Island

HST = 15 % ... Nova Scotia

New Brunswick and Newfoundland will increase HST to 15 %,  as of July 1, 2016

We are so focused on other things....  Time to remember some of the basics...

Next scheduled change is October 1 when HST in Prince Edward Island goes to 15% from 14%

At that point, all the Atlantic provinces will all be at the same rate for HST.
