Here I am.....ok I'll try to put a positive spin on this (I know that's what you want me to do).
Here are some points to consider.....
1 - Compared to their total holdings they really haven't sold that much
2 - Selling in October when the stock hit it's highest point in 2 years only makes sense
3 - I would guess that most if not all the stock that Meg & Bill own came to them via stock option plans, these plans require the insiders to hold the stock for a predetermined times before selling, when that time comes it's normal to sell (if the current price is reasonable)
4 - compared to the overall volume of trades in eBay stock the insiders represent only a drop in the bucket.
5 - compared to the amount of stock Meg has sold over the years this recent activity is not big and I'm sure she still owns a huge amount of stock.
