January 19 at The Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale Arizona
Originally bought for $1.00 in 1965 as a 1955 Lincoln Futura and with a $15,000 transformation over 15 days this car became the Batmobile #1 for the TV series. One of 4 Batmobiles used in the series the body is made of metal. #'s 2, 3 and 4 had a aluminum body

There is a "Batmobile" in London. I have seen it several times on Riverside heading towards Byron. I saw the one George Barris had at the Plunkett estate. The one I have seen driving around appears to be identical.
