How do I list these items, especially with regards to shipping, etc?
Is it a US listing, a CAD one, one for both? Can I somehow state that it ships to both the US and CAD? Can't seem to find these options.
All help is appreciated.

I have an item/s that can ship to BOTH US and CAD destinations, and they ship from within those places depending on who is ordering.

I also ship from both the US and from Canada.
For item location, I use my Canadian postal code as Ebay no longer allows anything other than a postal code/zip code for the item location.
In my listing I state that I ship from both locations.
I keep my item location as Canada, and include my Canadian address on the packing slips so that if an item needs to be returned, my ebay/paypal address is in Canada.
This is what I put on every listing.
For USA and International Customers:
Please note that this item is located in Toronto Ontario Canada, however we use USPS to ship our items from Niagara Falls, USA.

Have you read the How to Sell thingy from the drop down menu up at the right?
Basically, while you would be strongly encouraged by most sellers to list in US dollars (because the world understands the US dollar and Americans understand nothing else.), you just have to put in the Shipping Section that you do ship to the USA and give a shipping cost.
Measure and weigh each item (allow for packaging) using METRIC measurements (because they are what Canada Post has been using since 1974) and choose Calculated Shipping.
You can further decide whether or not you need an insured service, a Delivery Confirmed service or whether you can add a few pennies to your handling charges to self-insure. Check canadapost.ca for the services they offer.
Calculated will take your customer's postal code and give him a shipping price based on your dimensions and choice of service.

The whole point is that if it's a US customer, IT SHIPS FROM THE US from a warehouse there. Via US post. NOT Canada post.
That's thw whole point. Is there a way to say that the item ships to / from NORTH AMERICA?
Thanks for trying.

Thanks. Really helpful. Cool. I did spend some time talking to ebay customer service. At this point I have 2 separate listings for one item, one on the .com site and one on the .ca site. So I can save money listing your saying?
Post on the .ca site with US cost, and in the details just write something along the lines of what you write on yours? And I can even include a little blurb about the CAD and US shipping options for instance?

Shipping price may possibly vary slightly based on your location. The shipping method and price listed is the basic and most economical.
Other Shipping options besides those listed include:
UPS Ground
CDA Post Xpress
UPS Air
Contact me for details and prices please.
But then how do I list, what do I list as my original shipping cost and option on the listing? My cheapest CAD option? It gets confusing with the pricing and the total they have to pay.
