I checked a few of your listings and it seems some of you might have some ghosts too! Most of whom I checked there was a difference, some just a couple of ghost listings. Now maybe you wanted it that way, but maybe not.
Check out this thread for more info:
Wid - you have 4769 on .com and 4789 on .ca.
Jt - you have 36 on .ca and have 47 on .com
Fem you have 757 on .ca and 746 on .com
Ric you have 2938 on .ca and 2940 on .com
Sticker you have 10,192 on .ca and 10,189 on .com
Silver you have 765 on .ca and 763 on .com
ypdc you have 270 on .ca and 269 on .com
I am going to be bringing this up Wed with Raphael. If you are missing some too, please chime in tomorrow. There may be others I only checked a few.

My mistake, music, I meant to say I see 47 on both, not 36.

I see 36 on each If I show a Canadian shipping location. If I use a US location, I see 36 on .ca and 47 on .com. Some of the .com listings have shipping to US only. I didn't look to see if that accounted for all oThe listing variations but it accounts for dome of it.
Femmes listings are similar but she has more showing on .ca as some do not have a shipping cost to the US

It seems that since I brought it up this morning to Raphael, we haven't heard a peep from him. Normally he would come back and say can you give me some examples, but knowing that, I did way better, showed him a sample of the ghost listings with the item numbers on both .ca and .com. I don't think that is just a problem for me, I think it is a problem for a lot of sellers both on .com and .ca if they listed or relisted or sell similar on that particular day.

You're right, pj. I had totally overlooked the fact that I do have a number of health and beauty items that I ship to the U.S. only. That's because I have some inexpensive items that can be shipped to the U.S. by Light Packet but would require a parcel rate for Canada. This parcel rate can be twice as much as the item is selling for and, in the past, has resulted in some Canadian buyers messaging me to ask why my shipping is so high, why am I charging less to ship to the U.S. and, basically, stating that I am ripping them off. To avoid that, I simply don't show shipping to Canada. Bigger, or heavier items, are not an issue. I charge a parcel rate for both.
I think that when you are looking for your own items, even when you use another I.D., I believe you always see a version of My eBay which the buyer doesn't see since, as I mentioned, I saw the same number on both sites. By you searching by country, you were able to see the discrepancy.

Well it seem Raphael wasn't really that interested in figuring out what went wrong. I purposely left those listings as is because I wanted them to investigate as I believe there was/is a bug and it probably affects more than me. He said that he had looked up several of my listings and they were on both. But he didn't look up the listings I was bringing his attention to because as of this morning they are not listed on any other side than the one I originally listed it on.
But in the whole scheme of things, I am sure Raphael has bigger fish to fry and problems to solve than my issue. I just wanted him and others to be aware that there may be a bug.
I find the boards very helpful and I would have never discovered the problem had it not been for you. Especially
PJ said: It's not happening to everyone so that makes it even stranger. I wonder if there was a problem with the site when you relisted....are other listings that you relisted around the same time showing on both sites.
From that I was able to determine it was everything I listed, relisted, sell similar on Aug 31 was affected.
The boards are also good for any sellers who don't participate in the boards but do look at them. I am sure they learn a lot, like I do.
Well tomorrow I will relist all of the missing items and hopefully this will be a dead issue for me until next time.

I noticed same thing couple of weeks ago, right now at My ebay I have 344 Active listings, and 350 if I will use "See other items"
Yesterday I removed one listing with variation of 58 items and my number didn't changed.
