Well I got a package returned to me as undeliverable from the US, thats not to strange since I ship out over 2500 a year. The strange thing happened when I looked at the date it was sent. I had mailed the package back in January of 2002. Thats over 4 years for the round trip! No wonder the post gets such a bad rep.

Wow that is a long time! Beats my record of 1.5 years for a box that toured South America for a while.

I did have an item returned by the PO after 5 years, but that amount of time was because the discovered an employee in Quebec that was stealing mail (not opening it, just keeping it in his house) and once they caught him they just delivered the mail he'd stolen over the years. It was in the papers about a year ago. He'd stolen a package when it had been mailed 5 years earlier. (apparently sometimes it takes a while to catch them) The person I mailed it to had moved so it got bounced back to me. I was quite confused when it came back because it had a product in it (a sportscard) that I hadn't been selling in years!!!

About 4yrs ago, I went to the post office and shipped a bunch of express & regular air packages to the US.

The next day, one of the reg air customers, emailed and said, WOW! Thats was super fast, 1 day!

The express customers still hadnt received theirs until a few days after.

Weird..
