Requesting my pre-paid item or my money back.

I purchased an item in August of 2012 originating from Hong Kong.  Being patient, I waited and waited and sent e-mails to the seller requesting to send item.  I have not received any answers as seller information now indicates it is closed.  Since it is past 45 days (rule I unfortunately did not know) and this item has been paid since August is there a way I can get my money back and/or receive the item.

Unfortunately, after so long, you have no way to get a refund from eBay oPayPal. If you funded your PayPal payment with a credit card, you could try calling the 1-800 number on the back of the card  and request a chargeback. Have all the transaction details ready when you make the call.

if you didn't use a credit card, you won't be able to get any kind of a refund, unfortunately.
