Ripped off on Ebay and not helped.

I purchased a jacket, then it is never sent out, the user is gone as well as the listing and although I clearly have record of the purchase, Ebay argues that I never bought it.

You will always be able to find details of the order in your Purchase History in the drop down menu at top right, however, ebay only gives members 30 days to file an Item Not Received (INR) case. After that, you are covered by paypal for 180 days. So go to paypal and look among your Account Activity to find the transaction and open an INR case in their Resolution Centre. DO NOT ACCEPT AN OFFER FOR REPLACEMENT. It is likely a stall tactic and will not come in time, you will lose your refund request.

How many days has it been since you paid? Did you use PayPal to pay? If you did and it was less than 180 days ago, go to PayPal and open an Item Not Received case NOW.
