Seller has multiple items in one listing one cheap and the rest is expensive

Is it legal on Ebay to have multiple items in one listing?
One cheap, to attract buyers, and the item that the seller is really is showing on pictures is more expensive ?

I've tried to report, but I gave up since Ebay does have an impossible report system.

Multiple listing items should be variations of the same item so it is ok for the seller to list the different color purses in one listing however listing the wallet within that multiple listing isn't right. You might try reporting it as a browse and search manipulation although I don't know if ebay will pay attention.

It bothers me as well when they put one cheap item in the listing to grab a buyer's attention.

ebay could easily fix this kind of manipulation by changing the listing form for variation listings to accept only one price.  different colours of the same item should all be the same price.  If they aren't, items of different prices should be in different listings.

I wonder how often there is a legitimate reason for different prices in a variation listing...for example..items of a different size...

True, different sizes might be different prices.  But I'd still say that personally I'd rather see it in a separate listing.  If I searched and then clicked on a piece of clothing that showed up at one price, and then found out that it was a higher price in my size, I wouldn't be a happy buyer.  Seems to me that the description and price you see in a list of search results should be the same as what you will see when you click into the listing itself.

It's different items in the listing!

So you brows for a nice bag, see one with a very nice price, you click at the listing and choose a bag, then you discover thet the bag cost way more than the listing.

You choose another bag and it's also expensive.

You finally notice another item, totally different than the photo of the bag and this item is the one that has the nice price.
