Hello!
I am new on this board and I hope someone can help me find an answer! Yesterday, a new thing appeared on top of my selling activities. I have a limit of 10 items I can sell or a maximum of 1000$ per month, whichever comes first. I was surprised to see it!
I automatically pay my fees to ebay. All my parcels are sent to buyers. I have an excellent feedback reputation and I try to keep my customers happy with my service and items. I have tried to find exactly why this is happening but I can not find any precise answer. Can anyone help me on this please?
Thanks very much!

You most likely has a low DSR rating from a buyer. Perhaps more than one low rating.
Go to your seller dashboard and check.
My eBay -> Account -> Seller Dashboard
Then click on performance. On that page you will see how many low DSRs you have recently. On the middle right, look at 12 month trending data to see if you had others in the past.

eBay said that everyone get that regardless of what high or low DSRs!! It is their insane eBay policy that don't make senses.
I never understand why eBay needs to set the selling limits as I would think they would want to generate lots fo $$$ from us but no they had to set up that silly insane policy!!
You can call and ask to increase your selling limits every month, once a month. It is frustrating but it will increase every month if you contact them every month to bug them. It does work and they will increase them.

The OP has regular sales for months when checking feedback so most likely restrictions were applied because of low DSRs in the past week adding onto low DSRs somewhere in the past year.
New accounts, existing low activity selling accounts, or accounts with low DSRs or policy violations get account restrictions. Also it is a good habit to check your Seller Dashboard monthly to see if some low DSRs have come in. This way you know your are in trouble if you get another low DSR if you already have 1 or 2.
