Hello happy buyer!!!

Just a buyer beware message. Do not buy off of adam hersh auctions. Seller is terrible. Did not receive items, had to dispute it. Seller has a ton of negative feedback. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Almost every item I've received has been an "IT" item. When you bid you set the price at what you want to pay and realize that you are not going to get something fabulous, like a diamond bracelet for next to nothing. It is like gambling. Sometimes the prize is fabulous and other times you get cheated. If it is too good to be true, your instincts should tell you not to bid.

I agree that almost everything I bought was an "it" item. Especially this Christmas, when I was really low on budget yet succeeded in buying my son everything he really wanted, all brand new and wonderful...all thanks to eBay.

I'm a Barbie collecter and it's difficult to find dolls on Ebay that I can afford but months ago I got lucky and won two rare Sweet Valley High Barbies at a cheap price to add to my collection.

My best "it" item was probably the hardest decision to make concerning a purchase!

I was torn between buying myself a pair of evening-wear boots, or a pair of running shoes...hmmm... that was tough! I don't usually buy things for myself considering I have 3 little ones, including twins, so this REALLY took a while! Finally, I found the BEST pair of footwear I could have ever hoped for... it was a pair of Sneaker-Boots! White laces and heels with a running-shoe effect! lol I was laughing til' the end of the bid!

Ok... so I have TWO "it" stories... :-}

My 6 year old daughter (the sweetest human alive of course) is SEVERELY allergic to peanuts...yeah..it's a nightmare.

I had LITERALLY searched every pharmacy in my city for a MEDIC ALERT bracelet for her *tiny* little wrist with NOT even a lead! The best I was told was to order and that would take weeks!!

Finally, of course on eBay, I found a *tiny* sterling silver Medic Alert bracelet that was SO inexpensive that I was almost suspicious! lol - not for long though!

It arrived within 1.5 weeks and it fits PERFECTLY! Not only does it look adorable, my daughter's life is just that safer with it!
Thanks to the eBay sellers who see "value of business" far ahead of "profit"!!

I bought a great "IT" item recently on eBay, but thats not the point of my story! My purchase was a great "new to me" desktop computer, but it was the folks that I bought it from that made it so special. They were friendly and informative right from the start and after I made the purchase they also made an exception to let me pay for it in part via Paypal and part via Money order. I recieved it within a few days, and due to some problems with the cold weather during shipping, the computer wouldnt boot. I emailed them about the problem and they were extrememly helpful in getting it up and running for me. These folks told me they would do whatever it took to make things right with the computer including replacing it. I managed to mess up the cables, to the DVD drive, and they also helped me with that, although it was no fault of their own. In all, I believe they made over half a dozen long distance phone calls to me at their own expense, even though I offered to call them. It was without a doubt the best eBay experience I have ever had, I love my new PC and I can't say enuff good things about Deals_2001.
Cheers

My favorite "IT" item was moreso for my husband. The only item he had left to him by his late grandmother was a teacup and saucer...AYNSLEY Cobalt Blue with gold trim. During one of his moves, the teacup was broken but he managed to keep the saucer in one piece. This being our first "real" Valentines :-x Day together,I wanted to find the perfect gift. Thanks to Pamala20, I found the exact teacup to replace the broken one!!! How ironic that this cup was missing the saucer !! When my husband opened his Valentines gift, he put the cup and saucer together and it looks beautiful. It may not be the original cup but the memories are all there.

Hi there,

My IT item from eBay.ca came this Christmas.
When my father was dating my mother, back in WW11, he gave her a leather sailor pin. When I was about 3 years old, I bit the head off it! (I knew this because my parents told me when I was about 10). This year, I typed in "leather sailor pin" and lo and behold, one popped up on eBay. The rest, as they say, is history. I watched it like a hawk for 5 days and my mother received it on Christmas Day. I packed it inside the genuine Gucci purse which I also purchased for her on eBay.
Such fun!!

So far My best "it" item is my Autobots watch. I'm a huge fan of the Transformers and that watch is a good memento of that show.

I just wanted to post a comment about the bad customer service from "jackrabbitbaby". She is very slow with responding to emails that I left her. I sent 5 emails to check status before she finally responded. I left her a negative comment on ebay to let other users know, but somehow, she had it removed. If you are thinking about purchasing something from "jackrabbitbaby", You had better reconsider! I would not go through this again. The bad thing is that I havent even received my item yet!

I know that there are many frustrating experiences as well, but people, please! This is not the thread for it.
Nor for a blatant SPAM like Mr. kevin lee from china in post 36.

Mah, by the way, you cannot post seller's ID, only an auction number as reference.

Well i've bought a lot of wonderful stuff on ebay. But the best deal must be this brand new Fantasy by Britney Spears Perfume. I bought it for US $33 including shipping but the retail price in Canada is CAD $75.
Great deal.

I have to admit I have had 140 great if not fantastic buying experiences on ebay, you can't beat the pure sound of a minidisc, I dont care what they say about mp3 players, the song files are garbage, and now the only place you buy a minidisc is on ebay cause no stores seem to carry that 90's invention even though it's a hundred percent better than mp3. Also I've been able to get some classic CD's no longer in print like Jennifer Warren's 'Old Blue Raincoat' I've only been stiffed once and shilled twice but all in all I've allowed myself some space for disapointment so I don't lose sleep over it. Besides I never would have realized the great sound of minidisc if wasn't for ebay.
