Today is 1 week with no sales, I want to know how are you doing there? Only me? Or sales are down?

I don't know what's happening. I've had 3 sales this week but only the one for the USA the shipping calculator worked. The International ones keep saying to message for quote though I've checked and they are on my accepted list and I picked all the right shipping for the item but it does not calculate. I send them an invoice and they cannot pay even when clicking the Pay button so I had to cancel that sale.

 

I try to edit my listing to see what is wrong and one of them switched to Imperial and I could not change it back. I picked Light Packet for for shipping and when checking it after it keeps showing Small Packet and Tracked. I set the setting for only that listing but it's showing some other template for the shipping. Maybe that's why my sales have dropped even though I am getting the hits and watchers but the messed up shipping is scaring them off.

He really wanted the item even after the quote but stupid Ebay issues prevented him from paying. Other items he bought from other sellers he could not pay either.

I think it's a glitch not a setting as I'm using the CP one.

 

You know you are probably paying too much with that choice, eh?

Paypal gives a discount of 5% to 18% off PO counter prices on some services . This is more than the VentureOne discount available on the canadapost.ca site.

And you can print your labels at home and drop them into the nearest mailbox that takes parcels.

I'm waiting till all the issues are worked out. I really don't want to spend a hour printing one label. But does it work only on tracked items like Venture one?

Believe me, it won't take an hour.  More like 5 minutes, once you get the hang of it.  You will find the Paypal label processing is 10 times faster than preparing a label on the CP website!  Granted, Paypal has had its issues with the service, and there are incompatibility problems with some browsers (use IE and adjust the margins and it works every time). 

 

However, overall it is a lot faster (and a lot cheaper) than either trekking off to stand in line at the P.O. or using the labelling feature on CP's website.  I only use CP labelling when Paypal is completely off-line, which hasn't happened very often. 

 

Paypal labelling is available for two non-tracked air services, Light Packet and Small Packet, to the US and internationally, as well as all the tracked ones (Tracked Packet, Expedited, Xpresspost).  In Canada, Paypal labelling is available for Expedited and Xpresspost, but not lettermail. 

 

I've never used the CP priority courier services, so I can't say whether Paypal labelling is available for those.

Once you get so many "morons" whining and think you are in USA not Canada, you will start to have an attitude.  I usually have very high patience but when I get too many of them too often, it is getting old and tiring especially when they don't read it FULLY and can cause problems and grief for us.  It is bad enough that eBay continues to dump more problems like coming up with this insane policy like defect, etc., plus having to deal with those "morons".

 

eBay needs to develop a Buyer Update to remind them that they MUST read the listings FULLY or that the sellers will NOT be responsible for their stupidity by not reading it fully, etc.  That would help!!

 

As for our "attitude", I would say we are much better than eBay's customer service which is getting worse every day and now we are put on hold for much longer than 20-30 mintues each time now!

Sorry I mean shipping profiles. When editing my shipping it changed to another profile and went to imperial. I can't fix it.
