What's with all these zombie threads?

Threads from 2014, 2015 being revived.  Why????

It looks like "new-er people" people are coming into the community, not looking at the dates and starting them up.

My guess is that they Google search for whatever the subject of the thread is and then they find the old threads.

The problem is that members don't see the threads unless they subscribe to them when they reply.

Many of them come from the Help Pages.

Type something into the help box and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Sometimes there will be "answers from the community" or something like that with links to discussion boards threads. Some of the links go to fairly old threads.

Or maybe we are seeing the return of the Message Listing link glitch where you expect to be back on page 1 but actually get to page 273.
