When Do Defects Disappear?

Just wondering if anyone knows how long a defect shows against you? Does it end after a year & you start with a clean slate? That is how it works with negative feedback. Thanks

Yes, a defect should disappear after a year just like neutral or negative feedback.

Should we take it that means after 12 months? So a Defect in June disappears the next June?

Because otherwise we could have a holiday special on Defects in December that disappear in January..... I think I just answered my own question.
