Fairly new and just wondering what would be more effective for my few listings. I will add more as I learn the system, but which way of selling attracts more buyers? Fixed or Auction?

Thats a tough question,i prefer auctions on some things and offers on others, some people dont like waiting for days for an auction to end some like it,for a seller it can be quite exciting when you have multiple bidders, some people would just as soon make an offer and its a done deal instanly, the auction with the buy it now is kinda the best of both worlds,if its silver or gold coins and such, you may get more for your item depending on how popular the item is,some things go for out of this world prices on auction, you really have to research the item to find what sililar things hve sold for,ive listed things with make an offer format and never got any response put the same item on auction and got more than i was asking in the first place, for every item their is a buyer, sometimes its not the price that decides the sale its waiting for the right person to come along that wants it, hope i didnt confuse you too much lol have a great day and good luck

Hello 'e-mcguire',
If you don't mind my asking, what would be the logic to auctioning off a dozen
toilet paper tubes?

Do you not have recycling facilities in your neighbourhood? Okay, sure, sometimes
kids use them for crafts, and rodents love to gnaw them into dust. But were you thinking
of people who themselves have no access to toilet paper tubes?
Perhaps it's regional, then is it, -- I live in BC, but you're way out in Moncton NB, so is it
possible that people there are unfamiliar with toilet paper tubes and would be more willing
to pay your asking price of $10 + shipping for what they believe to be a scarce commodity?
Is there something uniquely special about these particular tubes, something intrinsic to the
tubes which distinguishes them from ordinary toilet paper tubes thus making them more
valuable and by extension more desirable?
Are they made from a type of rare fibre, signed by any number of famous persons - living
or dead? Are they delicately handcrafted and exported by Tibetan monks, or some sort of
super-sonic toilet paper tubes?
Or are you simply adding what you believe to be a bit of levity to your set of listings?
I am struggling to see what I must clearly have missed, so maybe you would take a minute
to enlighten me.
