Hello,
I have been selling on eBay.ca for a few years now. Usually, at this time of the year, I am offered regular promotional listings at no cost to me. This allows me to list more items for the busy holiday buying season. This year I have yet to receive any offers of waived listing fees other than the usual 50 free listings per month.
Anyone have any idea why eBay.ca has stopped offering free promotional listings to their sellers?

It is for eBay's benefit -- not us sellers that they give out the free offers.
eBay sends out invites to increase eBay sales (often for selected categories)
or perhaps they just throw a dart at the calendar to see if there is a lucky day that month.
They also want people to have stores -- so too many free listings defeats that basic store benefit of 250 free plus 250 free auctions in selected categories.
Last free listings offer I saw for eBay.CA was September.

Me too! I miss receiving the free listing promos this year. I usually sold more items that way. Darn eBay, eBay is becoming a Scrooge!!

USA sellers just got 500 Free listings on dotCOM
as usual, Canadian sellers on dotCA have been left out in the cold...
