I haven't been on here in a few months buying anything, but i'm trying to use ebay.ca while logged in, when i search for items they will show up on the search page and almost all of the ad's will have the shipping price below the item price, but when i open the item listing page it seems more then half of them have NO shipping information at all on the page, neither under the current bid price where it usually is, nor does it show anything by clicking on the shipping tab further down the page, what is going on here?
Its the same for Canada and US/Worldwide listings..

Because shipping is complicated, there is a separate tab for the Shipping and Handling page.
I don't know how to do screenshots, but if you look below the picture, but above the Item Specifics, there are two tabs.
The default is Description, which includes the Item Specifics and the seller's own text description.
Next to that tab is Shipping and Payments (hmm they changed the name since I last paid attention to it).
Click there and you see more precise information about the shipping, including the services available (some sellers offer more than one service).
You should also see the cost for shipping to your postal code. For fun you can change that code or even the country, to make comparisons.
You may also see Contact Seller for Shipping Cost, if the seller did not specifically choose a shipping cost for Canada. (Many sellers in the USA do not ship outside their borders. Not even to Hawai'i.) Don't buy if you see this until you have a firm quote. Not 'Around $5 more" but $37.93 by Priority International. Seriously, a lot of sellers are really clueless about cross border shipping costs. They also think Hawai'i is a small town in Kenya.
Some of this may not be visible or easily found on a mobile device.
So if you are shopping on your phone, add the interesting items to your Watch List and come back to it when you have access to a laptop or desktop. The mobile app has lots of scary vacancies.
Also GSP. But I ain't gonna open that can of rattlesnakes.

That is odd. I haven't seen that happen before and when I open that listing, the shipping price is there now.
Were you signed in when you were looking?

This is strange.
What browser are you using? What windows? Is windows and browser up to date?
Maybe an old cookie/cache browser issue? Try clearing you browser.

The screenshot of the search shows a postal code so the OP must be logged in.

Yes i am logged in
i already tried clearing cookies/resetting browser
doesn't work on firefox, or google chrome
the ad i posted of screenshot of you were able to see the shipping price in? it still doesn't show up for me
I looked at the ad without being logged in and it looks the same as when i do log in
So strange because half the ad's do show the shipping price normally, and the rest have nothing
Even in the shipping and handling tab it doesn't show any information

this is interesting....
I tried looking at that item on the ebay mobile app and under shipping in big red letters it says
ITEM DOES NOT SHIP TO YOU
this is bizzare though because i have seen items that are 100% located in canada that do not display the shipping price. And im 99.9% sure they wouldn't not ship to other canadians
ebay this is extremely frustrating

Yes, I could definitely see the shipping price yesterday.
However, today I can't it in the listing. I checked a few of that sellers listings and I can't see the shipping price on any of them but other sellers listings seem to be ok. I'm stumped.

I just checked the some of the other depoloso pages -- the shipping for Canada displays properly on ebay.COM -- it does NOT display on eBay.ca
Canadian shipping displays properly on eBay.FR but not on cafr.eBay.ca (french Canada)
Since this this is the weekend I'm going to guess some of eBay's computer maintenance is causing problems.

I also crosschecked some of my ,com listings and they display shipping (at least for me) on both .ca and .com

This was happening to some of my listing, too. I can't remember exactly which day it was (Monday?) . I haven't noticed it happening today, but who knows what customers are seeing. Extremely worrying.
