eBay Launches Exclusive Valentine's Jewelry Collection

On the Internet, I came across this announcement today:

eBay is launching an exclusive line of loved-inspired extras with three of Canada's top accessories designers. The Valentine's Collective collection features15 limited-edition pieces that are all under $100.

Launched today, 'till February 28, or until it sells out, with free shipping across Canada. 

I find it strange that this "exclusive collection" wasn't in eBay's community announcements.  What do you think?

I would find it strange if it was in the community announcements considering that they rarely use it for important things such as site changes and/or site problems.
