First time ever with a sell item---I thought I was on the US site, but turns out it was Canada.  Although, I had to do the cross border agreement.? So does that mean it's seen on the US site too.   Total newbie-and have a house full of collectibles to clear--estate stuff.

Must figure this out--hubby isn't computer friendly!!

In some ways as a Canadian seller you are better off here.

Yes, your items will show on the US site as long as you have shipping to the USA enabled.

Actually, that is the benefit.

With 'a houseful of collectibles' you will be shipping by parcel, and on dotCA you can use Canada Post Calculated Shipping.

On the US site you are stuck into Flat Rate shipping- one rate for all of Canada, one for all of the USA.

Shipping is going to be the hardest part of learning to sell.

Do you have a scale? Do you have a tape measure?

Use metric measurements. Canada Post went metric in 1974. Everything else is approximate and rates change on a gram.

Your prices are in Canadian dollars on the Canada site, but will show in USD on the dotCOM site.

Actually, if you go to ebay.co.uk and have enabled shipping to Great Britain , your items will show there with the price in sterling.

DON"T ship internationally yet.

Ask any questions you like. There are lots of busybodies  experienced members here who will be happy to help.

You might also want to put more information / words in your titles - this will help in search results and hopefully bring more lookers & buyers to your items.

Good luck.

You have 80 keystrokes for your titles. And almost no limit for your descriptions.
