i have created a number of lists which i no longer need. how do i delete these list headings?

i have created a number of lists.  i would like to delete some of these list headings.  how do i do it?

First click on the list to display it. 

Once the list is showing, look in the top right corner of the shaded area for the word "Edit" in very small type.

When you click on Edit, you get a menu. The last item on the menu says "Delete this list".  Click on that and follow the instructions.
