I bid and won a 16GB flash drive and when it arrived I discovered that it was a defective 4GB that had been hacked to list as a 16Gb. It would store files up to just over 3GB and then all files and folders after that would just be empty file names.
This same hack and fraud scheme was run on Ebay many years ago on smaller flash drives.
The problem is , that you won't notice this until you have stored more than the defective size of the 4GB and then try to read any of your files supposedly above that defective size. Your file reader or wordpad will list your files and folders above the defective limit but when you try to open them, there is nothing there.
This is a criminal Fraud action in any criminal court in the world; I have contacted ebay and insisted that they bar this seller from listing any more of these hacked sticks on Ebay; as of the present moment , the seller is still listing these hacked drives on Ebay
If you have bought one of these drives, immediately load it with 6GB or more and then try to read the files from top down. If you bought one of these hacked drives contact me.

My My,
How obvious can it get?
Some of the bigseller can be given the benefit of the doubt; they may or may not be working in some arrangement for Ebay.
You on the other hand would stretch any credibility to the breaking point.
You have a listing of just one on Ebay with zero sales and zero buys and yet you fill these dicussion boards with expert advise on policy and shipping etc. Most of your comments in these boards are in obvious support for Ebay and it's policies.
Please don't ask us to beleive that you're not employed in some way by Ebay.

Go ahead and believe that or not. It makes no difference to me.
I'll give you another shovel to continue digging that hole when the one you're using breaks.

My My,
What a quick response! Less than a minute! about 30 seconds!
It isn't what I believe
And what the California department of Justice believe, and that other one ic3.
You at Ebay are digging your own hole deeper.

I've never run into the term "underfolks" before but it sounds as though you're trying to denigrate those on whose support you're relying.

I have just downloaded the form from the California Department of Justice; there is a problem with the online form; mandatory country and postal code requirements. I will be using snailmail process. I will be contacting IC3 as well. I will be taking my time and doing it well.
Your resolution department suddenly fell all over themselves to register my complaint, escalate it to a case and refund me without me ever asking for a refund. They've assured me that they will be taking appropriate action re the seller. Whatever their action, I'm quite sure it will not change their procedures which make them accessories to the frauds perpetrated on ebay. If it was just their actions and I felt that they would be instituting new procedures to remedy any future frauds, I would abstain from these legal actions.
However, they could not assure me that the moderator of this discussion group would restore my posts to their original and abstain from any future butchering of my postings. (as example) my last post reffered to "underfolks"; it was edited out and the reply post from "marnotom!" included it and was not edited out by moderator. Several of my posts have been butchered as to make them virtually unintelligable, while "marnotom!" and the bigseller quackers used the very same words and terms without editing.
I am proceeding in these legal processes because of the shabby farce I've encountered here. When ebay asks why, you can explain it to them.

Sometimes it takes a while for eBay to catch up to itself and make things happen.
However, if you read some of the US boards..... sellers are getting the "axe" for many reasons.
and ... One gets the impression that more will be leaving eBay.....
Buyers should be reporting bad sellers... as should sellers report problem buyers....
We do have to understand that eBay is not a corner store with a small market......It is a MASSIVE internet mall.
Put eBay with all of its sellers, and all of their inventory at one single location.... and eBay just might become the 5st State.....

You do realize that the 32 gig sticks are just as phoney as the 16 gig sticks.
Get your refund and go to Staples. Or Totem. Or Grand and Toy . Or Dollarama. Or WalMart.
Testosterone poisoning. Seems endemic in about half the population.

I was wondering how some Canadian sellers were selling 16 GB Flash drives for less than the Chinese. I hope these scammers get booted quick so the category can be free for legitimate sellers.
