sales slow?

Is it just me, or have sales really slowed down this past week????

last 2 weeks were quite slow for me too.

Really slow. I have tons of bids on all my auctions, about $1 a time and no where near my reserves.

I am selling some of the same things I sold before and now ofering free shipping or free wirelss microphone and still not getting the sales I had been enjoying last month and before.

Glad it's not just us - we had a really terrific week last week - almost record sales (off ebay) - and this week....nothing! I keep checking our website to make sure it's actually working!!!

OK I posted too soon. No sooner than I posted my sales were down and I get a BIN with an immediate payment on an item with a 300% return. Yippee!

I only need one of these a day to cover all my costs and put some change in my pocket for a Timmies.

My sales have actually been exceptionally slow for three weeks to a month. Frightening. One sale a day isn't nearly enough for me. Consequently I've reviewed the posts regarding the best time to list and have been listing a few auctions in each suggested time category. The best fishermen keep trying new things when fishing gets slack. So far Friday 4:30 - 5:00 (just before quitting time) Eastern time is looking the best. (1:30 - 2:00 PST)

It has been like melasses for me for the last few weeks.
Today, I decided forget ebay and go to the hairdresser.
I come back to find that a buyer has found my auctions. 🙂
She bought 4 windows. :):):):)

I should probably go out more often LOL

Hmmm... Hair done. Interesting theory. Being a short-haired male I may end up looking foolish but it's a small price to pay for robust sales.

I didnt go to the hairdressers but I headed out to work on my boat with the disappointment of only 1 sale this week and sold 3 items last night and another one closing today that has reached my reserve.

Its like getting into the bathtub and the phone rings. There is a connection.

I just would like to welcome myself here. I just became a Powerseller just this past week. My name is Eldred and I will try to post as often as I can here.

Sales have been slow for me for the past 2 weeks. I am barely making enough to cover my eBay fees. Is everybody on holidays or what? Or maybe it's exam time in school and the students don't have time for eBay.

I think it's a combination of things, and there are always those slower periods and busier periods. Could be things such as the nicer weather arriving in the more northern areas, the high costs of fuels making people redo their budgets.

My sales have been okay (down a bit, but not too bad), but I'm packing it in til fall soon anyway. I hate 'risking' rare books on an opening bid and I do think that the weather has gotten nicer and people are spending less time at their computers. I'd be out planting now, but it's raining, so her I am! It does slow down for a bit until people get used to the idea of good weather (or it gets TOO HOT). MORE! than that I sold 12 windows today so in the US$ 45 +
I also sold 4 Friday.
I wonder how that will affect my PS status. LOL

Never had time for hair today. I've been negotiating for 48 hours but I sure need to go back if this is the effect of pampering. 🙂
