About Import Fees

My uncle bought for me a laptop, he lives in USA but he paid with Canadian dollars.

Of course he paid the import and shipping fees so, does this mean I don't need to pay nothing else when it arrives?

Do you mean he bought from a seller in the USA who uses the Global Shipping Program to delivery their products?

If so, your uncle paid the import fees (duty, sales tax, and a small service fee) before the seller was told to ship.

The tracking number will show your laptop being sent to Erlanger KY.

Don't panic!

That is the GSP plant.

From there it will get a new tracking number (ask your uncle for it) and will be delivered to you with no further costs, usually by Canada Post.

Well, I don't know if it was with GSP but yes, he did paid import fees. Also it says that the shipping service he used is the International Priority Shipping.

If this is what you meant with GSP, then yes. Annnnd I will keep and eye on the tracking number then. Sorry, I'm just new here with ebay shippings 😛 Thanks

looks to me, from the screen grab, that import fees have been paid. so hopefully all goes well for you.
