Re: Description says free shipping but I was charged shipping

The Global Shipping Program is a Seller Protection offered by eBay to sellers in the UK and in the US.

You should get a notice that your item has been delivered by USPS to the GSP plant in Kentucky.

Don't Panic!

They will reship it to Canada after using those 'other charges' to pay the Canadian duty and sales taxes as well as a small service charge.

Then they hand it over to (usually) Canada Post for delivery to you.

Any delay in KY is offset by having no delay in Customs, so you should have it within two weeks of purchase.

I assume the seller needs to edit her/his shipping policy settings or remove the 'Free Shipping' from the title(s).

The seller also needs to invoice this order with free (0.00) shipping.

Once the billing is correct, you can pay; not before

P.S.

I hope you're not trying to buy a FitBit from China?

Is it item number 302513159989?

There are many listings with 'Free Shipping' in the title, but showing S&H costs or GSP in the listing.

If it was item #302513159989, it really has free shipping to the US. But seller added GSP on the listing for international shipments, so you are paying the forwarding service, not the seller.
