Item stuck at international shipping hub in UK

So I bought a wiring harness from the UK (item 256594034684) that looks stuck at the international shipping hub. Hasn’t moved in over a month. How would I go about finding out what happened here so I know whether or not ordering another similar item won’t have an issue?

Re: Item stuck at international shipping hub in UK

What window were you given for delivery?

If the last estimated date has passed, open a Claim for non-delivery under the Money Back Guarantee.

You will be refunded by eBay.

The seller will keep your payment, since they completed their part of the delivery (to the hub).

If the purchase shows up later*, you keep it.

The GSP/eIS does not want it back.

* and most "lost" shipments are just delayed not disappeared.

Unfortunately, there is no way of finding out what happened.

Where are you looking at the tracking, @wwhchung?  I'm wondering if you're looking at the tracking for the carrier the seller used to get the item to the Global Shipping Programme (GSP) hub.  Once the item is delivered to the hub, you're not going to see any further information from the carrier as they have no further involvement in the shipment.

Viewing the tracking on "My eBay" or the Pitney Bowes tracking tool might be yield further carrier information, but if you're looking at that and seeing no further information after delivery to the hub there, there's one other place you can try checking, and that's the Parcelsapp site, which is generally pretty good about tying together tracking information when multiple carriers are used, as would be the case for a GSP shipment.

Having said all that, @pjcdn2005 is correct about it being pretty much impossible to determine the fate of an item forwarded through the GSP.  If after all this checking there's no further information on your item's last scanned location and it's between 1 and 29 days past the last estimated delivery date for your item. I'd follow @reallynicestamps' excellent advice and file a claim with eBay for an undelivered item.
