Hi there, I recently purchased 2 items, and after they cleared customs, they have not moved according to tracking. It's been 17 days since they cleared customs. Neither have been assigned a tracking number from Intelcom, or a third party courier as usual per the global shipping program. Today is the day after expected delivery for one item, and I'm afraid I'm going to have to file for item not received. Is there anything I can do to find out where these packages are or how to get them moving again?
Please help, I really want these items!
thanks,
Dan

I'm waiting for a non-eBay shipment of special facemasks from New York that I ordered around November 19th. In the past, this company has shipped my orders out by FedEx, but I guess they figured out that this was biting too much into their revenues so this time my order appears to have been shipped by a system very similar to the GSP. I checked the tracking the other day as it's been a while, and it looks as though they got handed over to Canada Post. The tracking information was sent to Canada Post, but as of the 27th, there's been no scans on file.

I'm having similar issues. I can only gess it has to do with Canada Post in Ontario. It's like a black hole.
A DVD I purchased hit Ontario before tracking updates stopped in mid-November. I filed a "didn't receive" on December 9th. Both the seller and I found out later the package was damaged in transit.
As a seller, I sent a DVD to a customer via very fast (and expensive) shipping. Everything was fine and on schedule until it hit Ontario, then the tracking (once again) stopped. The date of delivery is now extended to the point that the courier company (again DHL) doesn't know when it's going to arrive.
I started my Christmas shopping online at the beginning of November. There's been a lot more trouble but it's not relevant to the topic. if I did roll out the details I would need a bottle of scotch and a shoulder to cry into.

Still no updates for me. Anyone else have any better luck?

My facemasks arrived today, for what it's worth.
Checking the tracking, there's no scan information between the "electronic information received" message and the "item processed" scan from yesterday (Dec. 12) in Richmond. There are three scans for today (processed at the post office in my town in central Vancouver Island, out for delivery, delivered)
This just underscores my belief that unless your item is approaching or past its estimated delivery date, there's really no point in religiously checking tracking.

I can't check the tracking because I never received a Canada Post tracking number. My item cleared customs on Nov. 24th, but nothing has happened since then. Usually, I'd get a tracking number within a few days of it clearing customs, but not this time.

How do you know your item has been handed over to Canada Post? Not trying to sound snotty about this. Isn't there the possibility that another carrier may be handling it?

Because it is always Canada Post for me, since it is being shipped to a PO Box. Also, I don't know if Canada Post has it, that's the problem.

I order from all parts of the world. This time of year: winter / Christmas / storms, etc., will hold up deliveries. Tracking is useless as you have witnessed. I have yet to have lost a package or have yet not to receive a package in over 20 years of collecting. However, yes, I have waited upwards of 3 - 4 weeks past due date to have received a package.
