I'm looking for sniping programs i'm tired to spend time and free myself to snipe manually to see 2 guys going crazy on an adrenaline rush and raise a $30 listing to $200 burning 7-days hidden gems into 60 secs. I know as a seller you want to see that, but as a buyer hunts ends in a waste of time
I'm looking for one that maybe could be free. I do not mind if there is fees too. But at least one that we do not need to link a credit card. i'm doing some researchs but i never used one, i'm new to it so i'm open to any recommendations
Is it safe to use too? It's sure a priority. I read we need to share our eBay informations. It's to use on my buyer account so i do not have nothing on it, but still my paypal informations i guess
I'm open to any thoughts

DH used to use esnipe.com when he was bidding in Australian auctions so he didn't have to wake up at 5 am to bid and miss a whole hour of sleep.
I believe you get a number of freebies and then the fees are quite reasonable. It's been long enough that I would not dare to quote numbers.

I used to use gixen. They used to be free, you will have to check to see if they still are.

I usually put in two bids for an item, depending on when I find it. I'll put a bid lower than my maximum about midway through the auction. Often it's still standing on the last day of the auction, when I put another bid in that's my true maximum plus a few cents "insurance". That way my true maximum doesn't actually show up.
I've thwarted a few snipers this way. Those I haven't thwarted have paid too much. 😁

I do about the same thing, I see an item/lot I am interested in, place an initial bid, usually, to see if there are automatic bids in place. Then I may push the price up, $1 at a time, just a few times...
...then I wait for the final secs and bid the real "maximum" price I am willing to pay. It usually works.
Never used a sniper app, never seent the need for it.

I don't like this idea personally, i don't know about other stuff it might work but for cards i feel like its just putting oil into fire. People going crazy for the interesting cards most of time they don't bid how much they are willing to pay, but for how much they are excited about having them. Those auctions are more emotional than rational often. By bidding we just give the info that we are there and that there's odds we bid again, if we shoot a bullet on the battlefield, bullets will coming back. If we bid once or twice against one or two persons we basically starts a bidding war in those auctions and those bids will alarm other bidders to come because it shows that it's an interesting auction. Really in this category a listing can go from $20 to $200 in 30-60secs sometimes
I have a very technical situation where i bid first but i kinda don't wanna share it publicly. Except that i bid first for lowball when i know i won't bid again. The rest it's just sniping, nothing better than being a ghost and just bid once with no one raising after. At least for cards. People don't have time to turn emotional and gamble
I started testing gixen actually i really like it, tested once and won an auction directly, got luck. I may upgrade to the unlimited version it's just like $10 per year. My only concern is about security while using those programs...

I've been Auction Sniper for like forever ............ well over 10 years. They are not free but completly take the stress out of bidding.

hee, hee, if the last minute bidders drive the price up to market and beyond then it is not a hidden gem 😁
I will snipe, not because of the price, but hoping that others planning to snip or bid in the last couple of hours get distracted, etc. and do not pull up the listing to bid on it. That has been me enough times!
