consumer priority services warranty

Does anyone have real experience using Consumer Priority Services  extended warranty? I notice their website gives no detail on the coverage offered and their reviews show no actual experience with claims only how easy it was to sign up.

If you are buying online, do not expect to have any warranty on your purchase, unless the seller is an authorized dealer by the manufacturer.

Even if there is a warranty card in the sealed package, there is a chance that a warranty claim will be turned down by the manufacturer.

This is because, again with the exception of authorized dealers, the manufacturer has no way of knowing how the item got to you.

It may simply be an unwanted gift. It may be refurbished. It may be counterfeit. It may have been liquidated 'old stock'. It may be stolen. It may have been liquidated by the insurance company after a disastrous flood.

Which doesn't answer your question about a third party insurer, of course.

This company, "Consumer Priority Sevices" seems to offer extended warranty and may only be connected to the vendor that sold me a refurbished Kyocera Duraforce Pro cell phone. I'm sure there is no Warranty on this phone so an aftermarket warranty could be a solution. I was wondering if anyone has experience with CPS. The BBB has nothing of interest and the reviews are meaningless so I'm looking for some first hand feedback.

Thanks

Translation:  The seller is getting some sort of kickback from Consumer Priority Service to promote them.

Assuming you mean "Consumer Priority Service" and not "Consumer Priority Services" I was able to find with a Google search a review site that had a handful of one-star reviews on the claims process.

I'd put money on this being an outright fraud or completely useless. It's that word 'priority' in the title that is the clue, since it is meaningless.

Your description of the website sounds very fishy. My advice would be to avoid it.

Even genuine 'extended warrenties' are next to useless, since the premiums are very high for the minimal risk assumed. You are better off ignoring all extended warrenties and using the cash saved to fix or replace the rare item that fails.

The entire name of the outfit sounds like Chinglish to me, quite frankly.
