purchase accidentally cancelled?

I bought a backpack from a vietnamese seller and it was taking a while to ship so i messaged them, they answered they were sorry and gave a sound explanation then ask if i still wanted the item or if a refund would be better.

I answered it was fine and i couldnt wait to get it. They though i meant i wanted a refund so i got a message from ebay saying the order was cancelled and the seller was reimbursing me.

Now i explained myself and the seller apologized and said he would ship it soon? But hes supposedly already reimbursed me? I havnt received the money back on my credit card yet so im not sure what to do? Can he cancel the cancellation? Is the money going to be deposited back onto my card fast? Its only been two days and im a bit stressed.

You complained.

The seller refunded.

The transaction is now over.

Two days from VietNam is understandable. The payment has to go through at least three banking systems.

However, if it has not arrived on your card by Monday, open an Item Not Received dispute with eBay.

If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping,delivery) you will be refunded by eBay which will go after the seller for their money.

There is a chance that the backpack is on its way. If it arrives after the refund is creditted to your card, you can return the refund using Paypal's Send Money service.

There is a chance that the backpack never existed and the scammer seller has found a simple way to avoid dectection.

It actually was cancelled before being shipped, due to me asking why it was not shipped yet.

The seller has been on ebay for 3 years and has a very good score, so i would'nt think they are a scammer.

A very good score is 100 per cent or 99.7. Anything less is not very good, to be honest. Like, 96 per cent looks good on an exam but on ebay that's well-past grounds for removal.

And i'm talking about 100% so that should be okay. You're right, never seen anything below 98%.

Okay, good. And when did the seller start selling backpacks? You can see that from the Feedback.

Apparently only a few months ago, and there were several recent positive reviews from costumers who bought the exact same item as i ordered.

It seems until recently there were mostly selling leather accessories and such.
