last night a delivery man brought a box here for me from ebay. Waiting for a few of my purchases to arrive soon, and after checking to make sure it was addressed to me, I opened it to find two 8x10 autographed sports memoribilia photos of baseball players. I didn't buy them and never would. How do I get ebay to track down the the actual buyer of the items, or the seller, to straighten out the mix up and have these delivered to the person who actually bought them and is now probably receiving a message that their package was delivered (but not to them). I have the tracking number in an email from Uniexpress Admin notifyig me that the package has been delivered to me. The ebay automated chat isn't programmed to sort this out. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

If you were expecting several parcels you may have to wait until the correct items arrive to determine the one you are missing. As far as I know there no ways to correct when you receive someone elses product. Have you done a search on eBay to confirm if any recent similar items sold on eBay? Guessing there was no packing slip enclosed with the goods? Usually that is the best way to make sure the correct goods get to the correct buyer.
Sounds like something happened during the eIS portion of the process. Is all the buyer can do file a INAD and start the process over again then "try" to re-order what they were originally expecting. Unfortunately this is not a 1 of. They are reported from time to time and as the buyer noted automated help is really not very helpful in these situations.

I had something similar happen about a year ago. I received a mystery package addressed to me at my address, no name or address for sender, only the stickers for the courier company (sorry I can't remember the name now). I spent a lot of time trying to talk to someone at the courier, who told me I had to talk to the US division, and so on. I ended up never finding out why it was sent. I still have it here in my basement (I wanted to keep it in case anyone asked for it down the road). Never found out why. Difference however is that while the courier was connected to eBay, I hadn't recently even ordered anything. Never found out what it was.
On a separate time I had a wrong item sent to me (but easy peasy I knew the seller had sent me the wrong item), I contacted them and they apologized profusely, she said she had so many orders she got mine mixed up with someone else so she asked if she could come and get it from me (she lived about 4 hours away, not bad odds given she could have lived anywhere), she had the buyer who got my item sent by mistake send it back to her and she then forwarded it to me. Took a while to get my original item but I eventually did and the seller was very grateful for my patience.
As lotz has says you'll have to wait for your other items to come in and see if something is missing. Might make it easier to go from there. Good luck!

I've had that hapen with an AZ parcel one. My address. Wrong goods enclosed. Contacted AZ and because the goods enclosed were I guess not worth their while and something I could use, they told me to keep and they just reshipped. Gotten UPS packages to my address that didn't belong to me. Making arrangements to get parcel to correct recipiant to say the least was challenging. After a few days, just gave up and walked it over. Customer was appreciative. For many of these new mystery delivery services the customer service, when you check, is usually very lacking.

As noted above, much easier to figure out when shippers INCLUDE a packing slip. Curious to know if eIS is enough on the ---- to do that.

@lotzofuniquegoodies, could the item have been sent through the Authentication process? I know that @sylviam9590 makes reference to Uniexpress doing the shipping, but they don't say anything about the photos being from a US-based seller.

Very possible. Not familiar with the Authentication procress. All I know is as soon as you add extra fingers to puzzle you increase the odds of it going off the rails. Like refurbished!!! Pitooey!!!!

I ordered a GARMIN GPS but when the package arrived - it had been delayed due to weather, it contained 3 "vintage" men's watches instead. I have no need for the watches.
I contacted the seller as per e-bay instructions but the seller denies having received any order from me and went on to add that they don't sell watches anyhow. This is no help to me and I can't find a way to connect with an e-bay human.
When I tried to enlist help from e-bay about this mix-up for which I am out $50 they maintain that they've assisted (which it true re: my earlier inquiry about its failure to arrival by the deadline) and that as far as they are concerned my case is resolved and closed.
At this point I have paid $50 to learn not to ever purchase again through e-bay.
