Just wanted to thank God.

DS was skiing in Colorado a couple of weeks ago. He took a bad fall. They thought his back was broken. Thank you God, it was not. The injuries are all soft tissue, and there is only the pain to deal with.

I don't want to be dramatic--I didn't know about the accident until after the fact, all tests done but as I sit here tonight being so thankful, I know there are other mothers who won't get good news.

I do not think I will be coming back. It seams I have ruffled some feathers here(not on this board). I only wanted to make a point and it appears that people have mistook what I said. I would like to refer back to it but someone felt the need it make it go "poof" there was another thread I came across that same night where they were scheaming on how to get rid of me but alas that thread is gone now too. I dont know why someone would feel the need to do that? It doesnt give a chance for anyone else to respond.

It reminds me of a time I was downtown at a local hangout and I was watching this one girl from the "cool" group she was putting down this guy constantly and that day I was tired of hearing it so quietly I started singing in the corner......

They never liked me much after that and did everything in their power to make sure I did not feel welcome

Julie, I didn't even know about my son's accident--I am sternly looking in to that--he often only tells us the good things--he is worried about our health--but I am made of much sterner stuff than that, and I firmly believe mother prayers are powerful and in times of crisis, definitely needed.

Glad you wondered. I was in the middle of a stern lecture on the proper use of various communication venues, (ie. cell phone, landline, msn, facebook, myspace, etc etc). Details will not be provided. And by stern lecture, I mean STERN. I may have burst a blood vessel or two.

So anyway.......knock at the door. Hushed silence. Who would dare to knock at the door when Mom is "in the moment."

Thanks Julie for the mags for Andy. He loved them, and says thanks too!!! The girls love ya, cause they were able to take that moment to escape. They are much appreciative of your timing. LOL

Congrats on your new job!!! You will be awesome at it. They are lucky to have you.

I know coffe is difficult to arrange now, but can I entice you with an after work beer. Hubby and I would love to see you and your hubby again under better circumstances than the last time. 🙂
