Sold 2 switches for parts and repair and specifically mentioned NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND NO RETURN, the buyer seems to know the loophole for MBG from eBay and initiated a return for defective  (sold for parts **bleep** ) . called eBay call center told them I refuse to initiate the return open the case now the agent was nice and told me yeah it seems on your chat with the buyer he made some repairs on the switches and it is a remorse case and told me there NO NEED TO DO THE RETURN LABEL AND WAIT FOR US TO CLOSE THE CASE. days after Ebay refunded the buyer on the grounds I did not initiate the return and they will charge me 65$ ( 45$ agent did not know what that ups California fees ) + the buyer can keep the items !!!!!!!!!! called them and the agent told me sorry even if the agent told you that you were supposed to do it (**bleep**) !! now I'm waiting for the supervisor's call !! We will see what happens from this scam story !!

Update: eBay will charge you even if they made a mistake, the solution is they will coach their agent for that only and you need to pay for their mistakes !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are allowed to have a No Returns policy.

We are not allowed tohave a No Refunds policy.

called eBay call center told them I refuse to initiate the return

You are allowed to abandon the disputed item.

The buyer is still refunded.

If you do not refund voluntarily, eBay will do it, and take the money from your checking account, credit card, or Held payments.

and they will charge me 65$ ( 45$ agent did not know what that ups California fees )

That's unusual, unless the buyer skipped eBay's Money Back Guarantee and went directly to their credit card for a chargeback.

Refusing to cooperate with those will lead eBay to "fine" you.

called eBay call center

The phone reps are subcontractors working out of Utah or the Philippines and are known for giving whatever "advice" will get you off the phone so they can fill their hourly quota of calls.

thanks for the answer regarding the 45$ they said it's eBay fees for the case !!! they made the mistake but I still need to pay for it and worst now I'm not sure how to get my stuff back if the buyer decides to keep it  !!!

but they can't answer what's the purpose of selling stuff for repair and people buying this knowing it is not fixable and they refund for remorse it makes no sense !!

Some things are not meant for mail order.

Anvils would be one example.

Broken products would be another.

Although some sellers do seem to be able to do it.
I suspect their business plan allows for a high percentage of Claims and for abandoning NAD products.

egarding the 45$ they said it's eBay fees for the case !!!

Again, if this is a chargeback rather than a Claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee, eBay does charge the seller fees.

How long after delivery did you learn of the claim?
The Money Back Guarantee is onlyfor 30 days, so if it was longer, the buyer went to his credit card.
It hasn't happened to me in over 25 years of selling here, but I allow returns and make refunds.

The fees may be based on the value of the item sold. (??)

Again, a No Returns policy is acceptable but it means you are abandoning the item and the buyer can keep or dispose of it.

But you cannot have a No Refunds policy and a lack of cooperation with a Claim, and especially with a chargeback, will be expensive.
