Item bought after offer was accepted, can still purchase

someone bought an item that i got an offer accepted on. I'd assume that the item would be off the site and yet it gives me an option to buy it. what will happen if I do?

Until you have been paid, the offer is open. The payment is the final acceptance.

Message your offerer and politely explain the situation.

Then mail the item (at the higher price?) to the guy who actually paid.

I think the OP is the buyer who made the offer, not the seller, @reallynicestamps.

Just guessing here, but if you were to try to purchase the item at this point, you'd likely get a message saying that it was no longer available.

If you are the buyer and your offer was acceped than the item was automatically sold to you. It sounds like you just need to pay for it now.
