My Payouts have been temporarily placed on hold.
Three weeks ago I had one of my largest sells, since selling on eBay.
How does eBay reward me? They put my payouts on hold for 15 days in a row.
I called eBay Customer Support and their response is less than helpful. Nothing is wrong with my account, we can assure you of that. This is just normal business operation.

you are right. ebay has no business holding sellers payouts. I have been on ebay for 19 years and now they are holding $1400 of my funds. this is a violation of sellers rights. I think a lawsuit is in order
Interesting how you decided to tack this onto an older thread that demonstrates pretty clearly why payment holds for new or infrequent sellers are necessary.
By the way, what are "seller rights" and which ones are being violated by this policy?

Apparently you don't understand that their are risks involved with some sellers, especially with newer/inexperienced sellers who list high value items, as well as other sellers who give eBay a reason to hold funds...
IF eBay is holding your funds, they most likely have a very good reason for doing so...a reason for which you have left untold here...
BTW, Good luck with a lawsuit.... best have very deep pockets for what it will cost YOU...
funny how all those eBay members who rant and threaten to sue eBay, NEVER,EVER return to the forums with their success stories...

Well now they are doing the same to me.... they have been holding my money for 5 days...2x now... its been 10days. and seeing they did it to you 3x.... doesnt give me hope they will be releasing my money anytime soon.

you wanna know why you NEVER,EVER see anyone return to the forums with their success stories... because ebay remedies the problem before it gets to a lawsuit.
