I hope it migrates to the .CA page, although I do most of my "work" on .COM anyway.
I send a different message to repeat buyers vs first time buyers. Ebay is kind enough to tell us who repeat buyers are (repeat within the last 2 years), however if the person buys and pays for two things separately, within minutes of each other, ebay shows them as repeat buyers when in fact (by my definition) they aren't necessarily. This happens a fair bit to me because I have buyers purchasing from both .COM and .CA which they have to pay for separately.
On .COM if you click on the buyers name or ID, it brings up the list of stuff they've purchased in the last 2 years. I'm sure its good for other things but it helps me identify "true" repeat buyers much more easily now.....

It does show repeat buyers on .ca. I wish that they didn't show them as a repeat buyer just because they bought two different items on the same day. As you said, that really isn't a repeat buyer.

Hi PJC! Yep it shows that a buyer is repeat on .CA too, but one can't bring up the list of what they've purchased like one can on .COM by clicking on their name (unless there is another way, I don't know how to do that on .CA)
I've also used it for a repeat buyer thats latest shipment had delivery issues, The earlier successful purchase wasn't showing in my ebay etc, but it was still showing on the repeat buyers list (in .COM) so I could get the tracking number for the earlier shipment that way.

Hello,
When I get any sale I always run the customer user id in the search for "Feedback Left for Others". I leave feedback for all my sales so running the user id will bring all the feedback thats been left for a particular userid. It still shows the items they purchased even if it is over 2 years ago. I've had some customers who are repeat just not in the past 2 years so this work around helps to identify.
All the best.

One learns something every day around here, I've never notice that search ability, THX for sharing!
I did find in my experiements that it only goes back so far, really old ones don't show up so there is a time limit of some sort (remember I've been selling for over 25 years here now).
