About Shipping to Chile

Does anyone here have experience with shipping to Chile?

I noticed that Insurepost does insure Chile so it can't be that bad.  Or is it?

In my experience it's slow, 4 - 5 weeks isn't unusual although the location within Chile seems to make a bit of a difference.

I've shipped there about 20 times, it's definitely not the worst of the South American countries.

Declared value might make a difference, cheap is always better.

The only ship-to country on my list in South America is Brazil because it’s the lone one served by Tracked Packet.

Make sure you know what you are selling is ok to send to chile, here is the CP link that will let you know that...

I have sent lots of stuff to Chile (untracked) with little to no problems. As already noted above, they are generally slow, and I sell postage stamps which are relatively safe things to ship.
