Anyone else missing a payout from Feb 4?

I see that there is another thread about this but no one has really given an update.

I got the payment sent email at the usual time, but no deposit later that day. My payouts from Feb 5 and 6 have both deposited. Wealthsimple says there's no evidence and eBay support says to wait. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

So I have some news..... I sent an email to the GM of eBay canada yesterday and a follow up today and did get a reply that they are connecting with the payment team today to gather more information and that they will update us 'as soon as possible'. Not a resolution or anything of substance but at least someone of importance has at least acknowldged us.

UPDATE: I put in a case on the 13th & they of course did not call me back within the 48 hrs. Just called them now to follow up and received this response:

-All Canadian sellers affected (apparently?).

-All banks rejected the payouts for some reason, but the official rejection date was the 7th of Feb.

-When a rejection occurs, it is to take 8 business days for the funds to repopulate into our 'available funds'. This means that we should see this balance show up tomorrow (I'm thinking maybe even Thursday due to the holiday on the 17th in Canada).

-These funds will then be cashed out as however you've setup your account. I get weekly payouts each Tues, so should be cashed out again on the 25th.

With any luck this information is correct, and the light is at the end of the tunnel.

Not all Canadian sellers were affected, I'm a Canadian seller and bank with RBC and didn't have a problem with my Feb 4 payout. Others have posted in the forum they got their Feb 4 payouts as well.

Glad you got somewhere, but I find the fact that they say our banks 'rejected the payouts' all on the same day kinda fishy.  And why would a number of banks reject a payout when they had accepted them before with no problems? If what the person said to you is true, in other words, another week to wait.

I am seriously thinking of sending a letter to the CEO of eBay at their headquarters in California, and CC-ing it to the SVP of Finance and the SVP of Global Markets. Like someone said, it could be something bigger and they might not even be aware of it. Problem is, there is no email address and would have to use snail mail.

It is also fishy that we have no communication what so ever from eBay about it.

well, the fact that the first line is wrong.....not all Canadian sellers were affected by this.......only a 'few', perhaps dozens or hundreds.  Maybe they meant to say 'only' Canadian sellers were affected.   The payments could have been coded wrong by Ebay causing them to be rejected by the various banks involved.  I'm purely theorizing.

If what they say is true, and at this point we have no reason to believe it is, the money should be in either our Ebay account or bank account Wed or at the latest Thurs.   If not, then this is just another line of hogwash from customer service.

At 3:10pm I was starting to get worried... then a few minutes later I got the text that it had been deposited.

I'm going to be on edge about this. I write a cheque to the B&M store (for their items I sold the previous week), sometimes I give it to them a day or two early in anticipation of that deposit, Going forward I may hold off on bringing it over in case something like this happens again.

I have weekly deposits, and today went in just fine.

What happened on the 4th of Feb sounds more like "funds" got redirected "To Parts Unknown" and now they are trying to pull them back or trace them...

Anyway, every Seller affected by this should automatically get the missing amounts and eBay can go hunt for its "issues" at its own cost and expense.

Unless of course, they may not know who actually did not get paid that fateful day, food for thought there!

They must know who didn't get paid.......it's the people who have a status of 'in progress' for their Feb 4 payout.

Didnt get my call back like I was supposed to, So I called back again today and of course I got a nonsense reply from another agent supposdly in the payment department that IT is looking into it blah blah blah, no timeline to fix, no the payment cant be resent we just need to wait. Started to record my phone conversations, enough is enough

Just clueing in to this now, I completely missed that my Feb 4 payment was never deposited, I was VERY distracted by all the tarrif stuff.  My first clue was a deposit notification this morning despite no sales for last week, I thought I'd missed and order....
