Hi everyone .... long time
I haven't been receiving payment notifications for about a week now. I know this has happened on occasion in the past and then we would receive them all at once. But it's never taken a week to get them.
I checked my preferences and notifications are still indicated.
Did I miss an announcement?

Quite often, a buyer by the name of, say, Ellen Smith, has purchased a mascara, but the shipping address shows Robert Smith.
The same Paypal account can serve several eBay accounts. All my accounts (buying and selling) use the same PP one.
And at least one of those accounts is in an entirely different name, with no part matching any of the others.
As for Robert's purchase of mascara-- which of these two would you prefer as a repeat customer?
There are so many legitimate reasons why seller and buyer need or want to communicate with each other and it's getting harder and harder.
If you look at the PP invoice, and click on Refund, you will find the customer's email address. And no, you don't have to refund if you click there.

Yah, as a non-makeup wearing female, I'd say men in general would benefit from a bit more sprucing-up than do females. After all, it's the males of the species in nature that spend their day just looking good while the ladies do all the actual work. Peacocks, lions etc. Exceptions apply: penguins and sea horses.

Loved the picture ....

I'm aware of that. I have three eBay accounts within my one PayPal Account. The point I was trying to make is that I like to address the actual buyer whether her/his name is Ellen, Robert or Frank. I really don't care who's wearing the mascara. As well, if someone is buying as a gift to be shipped to a different address, I will still thank James and say something like, I'm sure Rhonda will like your choice.

When I said that it was getting harder and harder to communicate with buyers, I should have been more clear. I know where to find the information ..... I just meant that eBay continues to discourage communication.
