I received a request for an invoice with combined postage. All of the titles of my items were replaced with the German title above and all the sold for values have been replaced with lower numbers. The items did not sell for the amount given on this page when compared to the sold price on the listing page. The photos are of my items but are all blurry and really poor quality.
Has anyone else seen this?. I called customer support and they were not aware of it but I read the .com discussion boards and it is showing up there.
I am not sure how to proceed with sending a correct invoice. I am unable to include a photo that is small enough to be accepted.

@pjcdn2005 wrote:I hadn't seen that one yet but the issue isn't that the op doesn't know how to send an invoice. The issue is that the wrong amount is showing on the request as well as the wrong title. Other sellers have recently reported that the wrong amount was on their invoice request and they did NOT receive the full amount. So it doesn't sound all that straightforward to me.
Are these sellers simply accepting the invoice from the request request or are they starting from scratch by sending out combined/revised invoices on their own steam?
Forgive me if I'm a bit clueless here. My wife and I sold in eBay's Bronze Age before the site had its own invoice system.

Once the request was made the only options are to revise the shipping total or leave it the same. The item price can never be changed. This has nothing to do with what the different sellers have done or not done.
These days most of don't have an opportunity to se

He sent the invoice. When a seller goes to send an invoice whether it's from an invoice request or not, all of the information is laid out for them. They don't enter each item and there is no such thing as starting from scratch. The only thing they can change is shipping.
I think that sending the invoice worked for that seller and other US sellers because the item costs were correct. I'm assuming that their buyers were not international. The titles for each listing were wrong but the invoice amount was correct. The invoice requests for the Canadian sellers had the wrong title and the wrong amount for each item. I don't know if the incorrect amount is just a Canadian problem or if it is a problem with the request function whenever a buyer is international

Thanks for all everyone's help. Overnight my buyer in Sweden in an effort to help out, has paid. They paid the incorrect amount so I amount of pocket on this transaction.
I can not send an invoice with a different sale price that ebay says.
I realize that I could have added the extra 20.00 Cdn or so to the shipping but that is very confusing to a foreign buyer seeing as they had requested combined shipping and were expecting a reduced bill.
I have called ebay several times and was told that a ticket had been made but each call was to a new person who had no idea of this issue even though I have read on the US discussion boards that other sellers had similar problems.
Possibly many didn't even notice that the price on the invoice was different than the sale price on the sold items page.
I will call ebay again in an effort to get a credit or the missing funds replace but am not hopeful and this process has been tedious. Hopefully I did not lose a buyer and can be thankful that the purchase was relatively small. Thanks again for the help/discussions.

Did you try contact through the Facebook page, which is recommended by folks on the board as they indicate it is staffed by eBay employees and not contractors like the phone reps.

HI-No I did not use the facebook page. I am not a Facebook user. Perhaps next time I will try but I am not so trusting of that site/platform.

Devon@ebay Can you please look into this and help?

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

Many thanks for all your help at such a busy time of year.
I have printed out your instructions for the Facebook help and will try that next time.
I will just have to take this experience as a monetary loss and move on I think.
I have not heard back from any of my service calls from eBay so can't see that anything has been done to help, which is quite discouraging.
I will try your facebook team next time. Merry Christmas

It is still happening. Two more purchases. This time to the US and the currency has not been converted. This is significant. I will try the facebook crew.

Facebook has had good reviews.
Or Instagram
There is a Twitter/X account but .... well ...
The important part is that with the Chats, both you and the rep have time to consider your responses.
Type it out. Proofread. Cut and paste into the Chat.
And that transcript means eBay has gone on record with their advice.

Any comment?
Hi @reallynicestamps! This is something that was reported on the US Community boards as well. I have reported it on my end and am still trying to chase down the root for what could be causing this issue. I will be sure to fill you in once I hear something back.

No response or no acceptable answer?

Not yet but I think that Devon is now looking into it.
I have a total of 5 orders now with the incorrect pricing and did start another thread titled--
Invoices and sold for prices are not reflecting the correct selling price in Canadian funds.
I no longer get the German title that the first two orders started with but the pricing is all wrong still.
Ebay is not actually changing the dollar or currency symbol from US or Euros to Canadian or vice versa.
For example, a sale of 125.00 Canadian dollars gets converted to 93.87 US dollars but then shows on the invoice as 93.87 Canadian dollars so I don't get paid the selling price.
The shipping costs added are also done incorrectly in the same way.

this issue is still continued.... again, just today I've received a request for an invoice with combined postage. All the sold for values have been replaced!!! with lower numbers. The items did not sell for the amount given on this page when compared to the sold price on the listing page. Buyer is located in Canada. I'm in Ontario Canada. My store is opend on ebay.com site...

How about ditch the invoices and go to immediate payment for listings until the dust settles on the glitch?

Good suggestion, but doesn't work with combined invoices or with Best Offer Accepted.
