I recently encountered a fraudulent buyer who bought 3 LEGO SETS from me over a 2 – 3 week period. He waited until l I had left positive feedback for 2 LEGO before he put his plan into action The timing was now right to start opening cases against me for "item not received". The buyer waited about 2 weeks which is an insufficient amount of time for a parcel to arrive from Canada to a US destination during a postal strike, then opened a case against me for "refund request for item not received" for LEGO Number `1. I responded to the case and asked the buyer to be patient as well as provided shipping details. Seven days later, the buyer escalated the case to EBAY and within an hour, they refunded the buyer. Time now to open a case for “item not received” for LEGO Number 2. EBAY automatically refunded the buyer once again. By this time I had clicked in and not rated him for the purchase of LEGO Number 3. Next week, I expect him to open a case against me for that one.
In the 13 years that I have been selling items on EBAY, never once has EBAY ever ruled in my favour regardless of what information I provided. In the situation described above, the buyer has received ratings for 2300 items in a month. He therefore bought perhaps 6000 or 7000 items in the month. Great opportunity to sell these items on AMAZON. Sure enough, he has several hundred items advertised on AMAZON including LEGO.
There is a possibility that he is not a fraudster just an impatient buyer however he must be getting a lot of items for free if he doesn’t even allow for normal shipping time before he opens a case against the buyer.
I put him on my blocked bidder list so he can’t scam me for my other LEGO.
Lesson learned and reconfirmed: Seller Beware; EBAY almost always rules in favour of the buyer! Time to take my business elsewhere!

"I agree that tracking on a $25 can be fairly expensive however, most sellers would add that to the shipping cost."
I see that stated before but it has never made sense to me. For example
You selling item for $25 + shipping with tracking $15. Total $40
Me selling exact same item for $30 + shipping no tracking $10. Total $40
Both cases the seller pays $40 to get item . But in my case I get an extra $5. The seller cares about how much it costs to get the item to them. Both our items look the same to them.
As for the DVD's those are really old listings when i first started selling. I created them before I switched just to .ca . I should fix them but to be honest never really thought about it and no one has seemed to notice. But i'll fix em. But what do i pick for shipping to Canada?

I learned the hard way as well for tracking on higher value items. I shipped out a Pokemon game to someone in the states, the game was something like $50 shipped. Claimed never received. I take it on the chin as I give the benefit of the doubt to this guy. But I saw in his feedback , the majority seemed legit positive feedback, but I saw several "sorry you did not receive your package" which I found odd, I then check his account a few months later, he has changed his user name and is selling the same game on his account (several actually). I cannot prove it but looks like this guy purposefully targets non tracked sellers and claims not delivered and is now reselling the items, but keeps just enough normal purchases so that he looked legit. Anyways, I should have just sucked up the extra $10 for tracking, as it is the first time someone in my opinion scammed me, it still hurts to think about it, and it hurts that I have to put tracking on items in the past that got to their place fine all because of this one guy. And mean while he still has his account and selling my item that I lost cost and shipping on for zero cost to him.

It's always best to start your own thread rather than post on one from 2019 as they will probably close this thread now. When did you receive the watch? If it has been less than 30 days since you have received it or less than 30 days after the estimated delivery date you can open a return request through your purchase history. Choose the reason for return as 'does not seem authentic' or 'not as described'. The seller then has to provide you with the return shipping cost (before you send it back). Since the seller is in India they won't be able to provide you with a return label so they will have to send you the money through PayPal or another method. You should let the seller know how much it is going to cost you to send the watch back with Canada Post using a service that has tracking. It will be expensive. The seller also has the option to refund you without asking for a return.
If it has been longer than 30 days you will have to file a claim with your payment provider such as PayPal or credit card.
if they close this thread and you have more questions, pleas3 start a new thread.

ZOMBIE THREAD FROM 2019
The problem with zombie threads is that the advice may be out of date and now incorrect.
It would be better to start your own thread.
However @adalagu_87 you have a simple Not As Described claim.
Go to the original sale and look on the invoice for a dropdown that will take you to the Resolution Centre.
You do not need a human being.
The system is automatic.
If you open a Claim within 30 days of delivery, the seller will be told to send you return shipping.
If they do, return the item.
You MUST have tracking. You do not have to prove anything.
The claim is Not As Described.
When the seller has the disputed item back you will be refunded.
If the seller does not send the return shipping, you win the claim and will be refunded.
If the seller does not refund voluntarily, you win the claim and will be refunded.
Do NOT get into a conversation about this with the seller. File the Claim and let the system work for you.
If more than 30 days have passed, you still can use Paypal's Buyer Protection. If you did not use Paypal as your payment processor, you can try the chargeback service of the credit card you did use.
