Out of 37 sold last month, 22 didn't leave feedback. That is over 60%. I know most of them received the item within 5 days as they were sent with tracking using USPS. I know feedback is not important any more but I still use it. Also at a glance, buyers look at it that the seller and think they didn't sell much. I know they can look at completed listings but at a glance.
I really wish ebay would use total sales/transactions completed too rather than just feedback left.

I think feedback is important for a new seller and I really feel for them when they don't receive it as it takes so long to create an image of reliability. In your case, or mine, we've got a good number of FBs with no negs or neutrals. I think that should send a good message to potential buyers, and ever so slowly those numbers will increase. After the first one thousand I think FB makes US feel good, but I doubt the extra numbers affect our sales.
And yes, a notation of total sales would be more relevant.

They do for everything that matters. The only remaining thing that is based on feedback left is your overall feedback rating. Since you are at 100% no change that eBay would make would change anything at all.

From my experience Feedback percentages vary from month to month with an average being less then 30%.
Buyers either like their privacy or just can't be bothered.
Every Seller appreciates good feedback but the trend in recent years seems to be that buyer feedback is declining.
On most on-line retail sites buyers remain anonymous...

i would agree, feedback left is around 30% give or take a couple of points.

Methinks that those sellers that only give feedback to their buyers upon feedback received just may hover around the 100% mark. No?

It's close to that.
Still amazed at the number of sellers who play that silly game, but they do.
There are a dozen ways to abuse FB, but only a few ways to make it serve some purpose.
One purpose it serves is to give new buyers warm fuzzies and you want that going on as much as possible, so why not milk it as much as possible?
