I just logged in to my PayPal account & was trying to get my selling fees I was charged for March. I like to put all my sales & fees on a spread sheet every month instead of waiting to do it all at the end of the year. I used to be able to get a detailed list for each month. I can't seem to find it anymore. Just shows the general figures with nothing broken down into more detail. Anyone know how to get the detailed figures showing fees anymore? Thanks

Paypal selling fees are deducted from each transaction.
Ebay used to track the ebay fees plus paypal fees on their Sales Reports which you can view or download.

Yes I know fees are deducted from each transaction but it isn't showing up in the detail summary anywhere on PayPal site. Also have noticed that the eBay fees & PayPal fees on the Sales Report are not the same figures as I have gotten from the PayPal site or the monthly eBay invoice.

Are you allowing for currency changes?
I keep separate track of my US and my Canadian costs and income.
Not only are there foreign exchange fees, but I buy in Canadian dollars and sell in both US dollars and in loonies.
And they say accounting is dull....

Run an activity history report and download the resulting CSV. If you use multiple currencies you can download FX rates of the Bank of Canada website and drop those onto the same spreadsheet for conversion. Between the two you shouldn't need to do anything else manual to track your paypal side.

I only buy & sell in Canadian funds. I just want to find my fees that are charged by PayPal on their Site like I have done for years. But all it shows now is money paid to me, refunds & payments I have made to others. You used to be able to click for more details which gave you everything including fees. I then added them up for each month.

I had to go to PayPal & have them send me a pdf file for the month I wanted. You can no longer access it directly from their site.

Try from this link once you are logged in. Tested fine on my non-business account and business account as well. You can either select from their monthly financial summary reports or run a custom date extract. The classic history download function is also available via this link here.
