Canada post delivery notification also arriving

Today I got a notification  from Canada Post that a package had been delivered. That is something I like, maybe the notification of mailing and delivery is a new addition from CP.

It's not really new, it's been an option for years for either the SENDER or RECIPIENT to request status updates.

In this particular current situation it appears Pitney-Bowes have signed us up without asking.

I can only hope they are not bombarding my buyers with this **bleep**

I don't really like it. For some reason, I got such notifications only for Expedited Parcels and ...Light Packets! Nothing for Small Packets.
