Cannot delete item unlisted due to hazardous policy

I have a thermometer that was unlisted.

"This listing was removed for violating our Hazardous materials policy."

I don't know why it was flagged, I don't even mention any hazardous materials in the ad, so it's likely just an over-active AI deciding. Whatever.

I don't care about relisting or fighting to sell this product. But I can't remove or delete the listing. The selection box is greyed out and I would like to get rid of this listing as a part of housekeeping.

Re: Cannot delete item unlisted due to hazardous policy

I haven't had an item removed for hazardous reasons, but I had a game falsely removed for being counterfeit even though it was authentic. It too was stuck there with no way to delete, I'm assuming so users can't just repost it. I left it there and it disappeared after a few months by itself.

I assume they flag anything likely to contain mercury.  For what it's worth, you may have had trouble legally shipping it anyway. I know Canada Post doesn't allow them to be shipped.
