when I click on the Learn more,  I get the message

"Something went wrong. We're sorry....."

but the offer shows as active in my promotional offers

I won't be trying it out or using the promo as I will not be available for any online selling during that time frame.

i just posted 4 items in the ebay approved categories and have apparently used absolutely 0 of 10 promotion listings......in other words, i am not getting what is advertised and offered by ebay and yes i did activate the offer the 2nd day it was offered.

As far as I know, this promo only changes the count when the item SELLS.

This not a promo that gives you a free listing as part of the promo (those ones do change the count).

As far as I know, this promo only changes the count when the item SELLS.

True. It also might take some time for the count to catch up, and additionally, with promos, the final source of truth is considered to be your invoice.

I had the same thing happen. Listed an item in the Consumer Electronics category and the counter still shows 0 out of 10 used. Is this promo for real or just a mirage! Does anything work on ebay anymore? Less than impressed.

This promo is definitely broken. I created 4 listings under the Consumer Electronics category and they are coming off my 50 free listings for this month. The promo counter still shows 0 of 10 used. Glad I didn't list a high value item thinking I'd save 50% in final value fees and get nothing off instead. Why even "offer" promos if they don't work?

Pretty sure this an old style type of promo.

Free listing of the item is NOT part of the promo. 

The counter only changes when the first 10 qualified items sell.

With this type of promo you could list 10 or more qualified items, but only the first 10 to sell would get the discount. The "10" applies to sales, not to the number of qualified listings.

There were some threads discussing this back in 2016(?), as sellers tried to puzzle out how this type of promo actually worked.

It is not broken. It could be your advantage. I listed over 10 items and the first that sold, which was not the first listed, then changed the count. Apparently the FIRST ten that sell will change the count, not the first 10 listed. If it were only the first 10 listed, if none of those sell, but ones after the 10 do, you would save nothing.

The question I have is, since the promo ended Sunday midnight, does the item have to SELL to get the saving on FVF or only be LISTED, by Sunday midnight?
Only the invoice and time will tell!

No, it doesn’t have to sell within the promotion time.   If you listed an item for 30 days or gtc then it has to sell within those 30 days to qualify for the discount. If it was listed for 7 days, it has to sell within those 7 days and so on....
